I am confuse with the size of clearview windshield. I am planning to order 25" with adjusted vents but I am wondering if that would be too big? My height is 5"9. Reason I was looking at tallest shield is that there would be no buffeting but then I am scared that I won't be able to see through the shield if there is a fog or mud on it? What are your experiences? Shall I get the smaller one 23"/20" with "upper recurve" ? or the 25" with vents ?

I could be wrong (and I probably am) but I think the top of the shield should be 1" or more below your line of sight.

And I think most of the buffeting comes up from the sides of the tanks.

That's they Triumph sells the little wings.

Or above your line of vision, if you want to look through it. You don't want it splitting your vision. I am 5'11" and got the 25in, smoked with the vent. I am completely satisfied with it.

Is that what it is? 1" above of below?

I have the tall Clearview, I'm 6'1"...with the shield the furthest down and sitting perfectly erect I can see over the top, but if I tire and begin to slouch a bit, the top is in the center of my line of sight.

6'1"? Oh come now John. I dast anyone to say you are two inches taller than me. Pictures do not lie.

For those of you who have not met any of us, I am the Tom Seleck look alike on the left, short John Gr3ywolf is in the middle and Scot in Exile (Dave) is the tall guy on the right.

I'm on the downhill side from you, so, yeah, I say I'm 6'1" and you're some other height. Scott, though, he does have an altitude deficiency. 8)
