Progressive 440s

Mike, I count the revolutions of the cap you have to grab, which is easy as it as 5 or so 'divots' in the top edge. For ages i never even took notice of the thread! Also I hold the spring whilst turning the cap with the other hand.**** they can be tight sometimes! As for leaking  Progressive seem to be afine bunch to me so I reckon they will help ya.

Here is the E-mail sent to me by Progressive. It looks like a US return. That's gonna cost a packet if I can't sort it here.

Those shocks are covered under a lift time warranty to the original owner, if you have a invoice for the sale we can set up a RMA # for the return of the shocks for replacement. I need a mailing address and phone# to set up the return.

Thanks and look forward to getting you back on the road.

Mike,
If you can find the approximate date of purchase (did you e-mail them) then you can contact the supplier and ask for a copy of the invoice. They are required by law to keep invoices on which they have charged, or been charged, VAT for seven years. They are not obliged to to supply you with a copy, but if you imply that you have claimed the VAT back as a business expense and you cannot find your invoice, and that you have an inspection by HMRC looming, they may be more likely to take the trouble to send you one.
