probably stupid PC3 question

I'm looking to pick up a cheap PCIII (if someone has a spare, willing to buy:bch and have a 2008. Most of the sites list only model year PCIIIs up to 2007. What gives? Is there somehting about the hook-up to an 08 or 09 that prevents it from working?

Now, I know "tuneboy is sooooo much better" but I'm not thinking I am needing all that functionality, would like to have somehting I can "unplug" since I am still under warrenty, plus, would like to save some cash...

Should be no difference.

There is no functional difference. Be sure you load the correct Triumph tune as a base for the PC3.
