That's about all I can remember, probably another two at least of Commandos cos I love Nortons. I rode the Norton 850 for 15 years as my main ride. It took me to work every day, camping on the weekends and many forays down into the States. I didn't need anything more modern. Then I test rode a 1200 Daytona ! Holy smokes, who was I kidding? Never looked back. I really can't see anything pulling me away from the Rock in the near future, though I will have to get into something lighter down the road.

I grew up on dirt bikes. Cant remember the first one, I was about 8. It was a racing bike with a reverse throttle. About killed me.

Hey Nolton, I learnt to ride on an SL70 at a dirt track near my grandparents house we'd stay at over Christmas. We'd hire them by the hour. The following year they'd upgraded to XR75s. Hot little machines when you're pretty small yourself. We'd have those things flying over jumps, big drifts and plenty of stacks. My dream bike back then was the SL350 twin.
 

Yea I had some serious fun on that bike. I tried everything. Had to stand on the pegs and lean forward to keep the wheels down.
Sometimes I miss a light bike.
I still have my 125 and my sisters 125. Neither of them run. The engine is locked up on one. One is a 1977 and the other is a 1979.
 
Took my Thunderbird on the weekend Poker Run . I was the self appointed traffic stopper so the pack could get through intersections in one go. Had a f#cking hoot screaming up to the front of the pack to block the next corner. Thunderbird feels like a dirtbike compaired to the Rocket.
