Post recall idle problems

This is why I'm so pleased with Adam at Destination Daytona, not only a good Triumph Tec. but well versed in Tuneboy also. My bike has never run this well for this long.

No its Triumph. When the dealer loads a tune they normally start the bike cold not touching the throttle or anything. Let the bike idle until the radiator fan comes on, then let the bike run for 12 minutes after the fan comes on. If I'm not mistaken this sets the tune in the ECU. If you do a search you should find some better descriptions of this.

Had my letter on the recall , but mines running just fine with the tune boy , so no thanks Triumph

I had my bike in for the recall and the new triumph tune. My RPMs would also hang around 2,000 after the update. I saw something in another post about checking the Throttle Position Sensor voltage using the Tuneboy software. It should be around .6volts, but mine was off a little. I hit the reset button in the software and could hear the bike adjusting. Fired it up and it ran smoothe. I am running K&N tripples, so I loaded the Tuneboy tune back in. I have absolutely no idle problems and she's a joy to ride again!! :D
