Post RDU Tassie Trip - Oct 2014

TC and I stopped at this place (Cloony Farm Café) on our way to Hobart and as soon as we pulled up the owner's daughter came out to greet us. Said that if we wanted to bring our helmets in she'd clean the visors. And she did. This was the day after the publican at the Cygnet pub had told us to park our bikes in the dining room under a mirror ball. Not just the best fast roads but the best scenery too. Best riding place on earth to mix some fast with some slow. Can't wait to get back.

Ah .. memories .. riding across Tasmania with my throttle working backwards. Was talking to Rat and Jess about the intercom thingo we had ... me redlining the bike all the time and you asking if I was ok ... hahaha. And bloody Elizabeth at the cable making shop giving me the hurry-up  ..can laugh about it now ..think I was laughing about it then as well ..hahahaha

No matter how hard I tried I couldn't stop thinking how sh#t that was for you. Put a real downer on it for me. Hope you're proud of yourself! ;)
Yeah that Elizabeth sure had us expecting a witch but she was all sweetheart when we got there.

In all the years of going to Tassie, the weather never changes how stunning the trip is.

I realize TC has went grey (on his motor as well as on his head and pubes) and you now have the world's best looking headers (CES); BUT, is that can on your stock headers the same as you have now???

Yeah that's the same can(s). They do stick up a bit higher than I'd like, although from some angles it appears higher than it really is. From other angles it's just fine - as in my avatar. I'll be getting them "levelled" a little shortly, which I think will improve the line of them. I can still run saddled bags above them if I want but the gases do blow onto the back edge of the underside.
