Hi everyone!

I'm super new to this forum so I apologize in advance if any of my questions are daft or repeated. :kk:

I bought a end 2010 Roacket Roadster from a buddy a couple of months ago, and am LOVING every minute of riding it. :D

However, after a few months of riding, and reading what you guys have done to your bikes, I'm keen on making some performance enhancements to my steed.

As of now, these are the enhancements my friend had already done to the bike.

1) Jardines Full system
2) K&N OEM replacement filter
3) PCV (tuned on the DYNO)
4) GiPro w ATRE
5) EBC HH Pads (front & rear) added by me :p

I'm leaning more towards keeping the bike NA simply because the FI route is HIGHLY frowned upon by the local authorities here.
Whilst i want more power (the more the merrier), I do not wish to sacrifice day to day riderbility or dramatically decrease fuel consumption.

Looking forward to all your words of wisdom. Thank you so much in advance.

Replace the under seat K&N with triples and get Auto Tune to add to the PCV. Then, unless you want to start messing with tunes, you won't need to do much more. Messing with tunes can give you great results but also monumental hastles - a clear case of a little bit of knowledge being dangerous. With the changes you have (+ triples + A/T) you should/could get 140-150hp and 150+ ft lbs at the back wheel and keep it sane and relatively economical. Not bad for a modest outlay I'd say. :D

Then you need to upgrade your horn and install light relays and you're done. Well, until you decide you want more. And you will. ;)

yep, Canberra is 100% right.
ditch that plastic crap that runs from under the seat to your throttle bodies.
Get the 5 K&N's,
get a decent horn for safety, then wait on inspiration.

What horn do you guys use??

I have the Stebel Nautalis installed in the unused air box (have triple K&N's). Well worth the 139db that you get. Cut out the bottom of the box below the horn, still have use to half the box for storage. Wait till you hear the difference. Enjoy :)

I have Sebel Nautlas fitted in the unused Air Box... Brilliant and youll like the seat massage you get with the blow job.... ah!! I mean Blowing your horn..
Oh Hell!! I give up just but one Mittzy..Ebay special $40 :D

Thanks for the info, Canberra.

When you say triple k&ns, I'm assuming you mean the ones under the bearclaw? Will that be an issue for a rainy climate like mine?

And I'm actually thinking more like cam mods and porting etc.

Wanna be in the 200++ bhp range.

Stebel Nautalis is a life saver, as it get the unwary cagers attention quick.
That's what I've got too.
The 3 K&N's go under the claw on the individual throttle bodies.
The other two I mentioned are for the air sensor and the crankcase vent.
Making a total of 5.
Don't know where you're at beast, but I've had mine on for 4 or 5 years now
with no issues riding in the rain, of course I left a partial cut bearclaw on mine.

I like them sticking out there being seen,
and rain I've riden in a plenty.

I have basically the same set up you have on my Standard ( I have a PCIII ) and am quite content with it for now. I do think of going with the triple filter route, but my bike is running way too good to mess with.

To really take advantage of cam/porting piston mods...you would definitely want to go the triple filter route. You don't have to cut away the bear claw if you're worried about rain.. However, oiled filters do an excellent job of repelling even serious rain.. and they make water repellent covers for the filters as well..

I have ridden a Harley Softail with an open element K&N in a torential down pour for many miles and though surely that would kill the bike, but we just kept on plodding along until the rain let up.. As long as the filters are kept oiled, most water will stay out.

Richard and Skip pretty well nailed it on the head the only thing I would add about the nautilus is that of you separate the compressor from the horn and get a piece of hard plastic tubing to make a nipple so you can run a plastic hose between you can have the horn under the lights In the std horns spot and mount the compressor in the left side cover
As they have said get her breathing and with the Auto Tune hooked up to the PCV you will not need to get dynotune again. Then if you still want more depending where you are in the world there will be someone like Nevile Lush here in Australia or Carpenters in the States and I am sure there would be someone in the UK that can do a head job and replace the low-comp for hi-comp pistons and Cams
