I have been reading for awhile about the choice of aftermarket tuners you fine folks have been running, and I wonder has anybody tried the power commander 5 with the autotune and LCD accessories? Are they all hype or do they work as well as the devices currently in service like tuneboy and tunecu? is it truely plug and play- no tuning on the dyno or does every wise fiddler need to tune with a dyno? Thanks-

I have it, but haven't installed it yet The more I read the more I realize it is a little more than plug and play. I am going to likely still get another dyno tune with it as I am not 100% confident in my judgement with setting the AFRs.

did you get this installed?? I am trying to decide if I should install or have the dealer do it? Are you satisfied with the autotune? any details would be greatly appreciated.

I have the pcv and autotune fitted. I was very confused
to start with about afrs etc as pig9r was. However it's now my understanding that the afrs on the autotune are drawn from the dyno map in the pcv and it is therefore pretty much plug and play. My bike is going for dyno a week today and I should be able to feedback a bit more. As for the LCD display haven't seen it not sure it's necessary tbh. Presently I'm running a zero map because I went closest fit with tunecu but I have no doubt there will be a difference in performance after Friday.
