I think the best thing about the Russel design is that it gets the pressure off the tail bone and on to the legs. Never liked the look of them to much but the performance is worth it to me.
Unfortunately, because of back and neck issues my wife does not ride anymore, enjoy that while you can!
 
I toured their facility in northern California years ago. It's quite a complex seat and beautifully made. They definitely are in the road sofa class of seat.
