OK, Here Goes...

Going to zero out the map on the PC.

Going to load Hombre's "1fastTune" tune.

Going to drive it 20-30 minutes/miles see how it does.

Tomorrow I'll go for a dyno tune and see how she reads on my bike. If need be, may use the PC for some fuel tweaks. We'll see 8)

ditch the PC, try Hombres tune and see what happens, also experiment around with waynes tunes as well. ist so easy to do that you can load and then go around the block for a SOTP feel and then load another and see.... I think you will be happy with the performance of Hombres tune

Hombre, I certainly wouldn't count on any hard data for K&N vs the foam element. Our bikes and dynos are too different IMHO.

What I am looking for is true boost in power over the PC3, with your tune, and to see how the A/F ratio is. B/C if it is 99% for your bike, and say at least 90% on for my bike (and still made more power), that would be one impressive tune (which from initial impressions, it seems to be-but I will reserve judgement and let the dyno do the talking 8)

Also, I zeroed the PC3 and loaded the tune w/o a hiccup, took longer for the 2 PC's to warm up and attach the cables then to do both! Ain't technology grand :D

The bike was already warm, but tried a modified 12 minute tune-wait till fan comes on, shut down, start up. Anyway it ran very, very, very well w/o the 12 tune and was wicked fast, especially in the FREEZING 75 degree night air

Anyway, put about 30 miles on it since, and another 30 to the dyno tuner, so I think it should all be worked out-but know you got me thinking of doing a true 12 minute tune from there :? prior to getting it dynoed.

I also notice how off the speedo was prior, now I'm 80 mph 3300 rpms...lament for 6th, biatches!!

Also Hombre, I dropped the fuel cutoff to 6700 rpms (6250 is factory correct...?)

Dyno power appears to go flat at 6K exactly, so unless you tell me much more is left upstairs, I'll leave it at 6700 for dyno peace of mind...in fact, I'll lower it further for the rev-limiter on the dyno, and re-raise it back if need be for the street.

Also, I'd rather make the changes with the TB directly unstead of using the PC with it (however, it would be the same setup prior TB burned CPU, PC3 reinterpreting precise fuel.

I am not sure how to uses the TB effectively while on the dyno. I'm searching right now for some answers :?

Tune Boy, Tune Boy, Tune Boy. Jimmy Rocket is drooling for a Tune Boy. Must get Progressives first, though. Why? Comfort and safety first, performance second. BS. If I want comfort I'll ride the **** Wing thats gathering dust in the garage. Voices in my head call out for Tune Boy!!!

Hombre, did your guys the tunelink and the null modem to get your results...?

I'm bringing my laptop, and going to try to let them do the dyno, and I do the typing...

Also, Hombre, if there is a need for a twelve minute tune for every download-how is one going to get any accuracy as each minor a/f trim change is made? I'm guessing the 12 minute tune is only necessary to reset major values to cause an immediate change rather than a 50-100 mile relearn.

Like the first time you load a new TB program, it is probably a good idea to 12 minute tune...just as if you live in 80 degree humid sea level and take the bike via trailer to 4,000 feet above sealevel in 60 degree zero humidity, it might be useful...
