Bad news... Is the engine breather unsealed? What’s the mileage? I think only a large amount of gases escaping from under the piston could have caused this.

check the engine vent is clear and not plugged up
i wonder if making another vent would solve some air going past the rings?
also would running went hose into a catch can depending on the amount.
