Sounds like great advice...ON PAPER! "Remove the spark plugs". We are not talking Harley Davidson here when it comes to spark plug removal. And how exactly is that done with the air box and such in place.
Yes I knew about this in the handbook so it looks like that they know about leak down and have got the get out clause in place in case something goes wrong. The trick is don't let the bike stand too long and things should be fine. Removing plugs etc. seems to be a petty time consuming job. (not had to do it yet, thankfully)
Fellows, my first run start procedure is very basic. Since I checked the oil level before I parked the bike, I check for any oil leaks. If none then I simply turn my key on to ensure the oil pressure light works and hit the start button. The light goes out after a second. Good to go.
