I had this issue more than once.

Like warp told me wriggle the tank and tighten bolts up.

First time I had the leak it took me 3 goes to get the right size oring to stop the leak.

Last time was last year after up date kit was done and small leak was fixed after one go wriggle of the tank.

If all else fails take a can of engine degreaser and every time you stop for gas spray it down and wipe it off.

Oil tank leak most likely. My 10 Roadster has had the same problem. Noticed it after about 5k miles on it... new bike for petes sake! I bought the o-rings from Triumph but never installed them. Loosened the tank, wiggle it, tightened back down seemed to have done the trick. I will however get a little bit oil now and then. Seems to be a engineered defect if you ask me.
