anyone have the tall oem sissybar? how does it mount? anything special? picking one up tomorrow and will have to install in the parking lot....

Put a towel over the back mudguard whilst you are messing about so's you don't anything on it and chip the paint.

Had a custom rack/sissy bar made up by metallurgical friend who has arcane knowledge of such things.
It mounts 1) at the rear mudguard bolts and 2) on the same mount as the rear seat. Mount/dismount time is 5 minutes. The sissy bar is removable and may be replaced with an add-in rack section for serious luggage toteage, and it includes pannier stays. If anyone's interested then I'll get around to posting a pic.
