I think hard is coating, high temperature, soft coating for regular duty, we have hard coating, but I think 2 ga is max size at 36 inches good 190 to 250 circuit amps
I just took mine down to the local auto shop told him I wanted heavier ones and a few inches longer since they were heavier gauge. Not trying to get into mitzy's wallet he has a new TFC to pay for.
Thought I'd throw it out there incase shipping and all from OZ turns out to be two pricey.
Ya I'm not talking you auto zone type autoparts. More like your home town family owned business with the auto repair shop attached. They handle the school busses and county vehicle repairs also.
I'm looking on Ebay for a negative battery cable to add to my 2006 Classic. The cables I see for sale are 30 inches long, is this the correct cable? 30" seems very long to go from the battery to the back of the engine by the starter.
