Beautiful work. I wish I had half your talent.

You may wanna take a look at the tires on the CBX though, the tread looks a little worn ;)

Cheers

Thanks.

As far as the slicks, they're long gone, I got those for free and was only using them for mock up. I'm running Continentals on the street.

Rhodie:
Nice bikes.

We heartily agree with you that there is no temptation or need to mod on the Beast. She comes from the factory just about perfect. Also, we see modding as a bit shallow and childish. All that money wasted. Our Beast has not been modded at all.

Well, there is the summer screen. But a proper windscreen is pretty necessary for comfort. Of course, we also added crash bars as well. Just in case. But that is all. Except for the risers to move the bars back for more comfort; and the Kury grips. Those grips look and feel really good. Silly to do more, though. We did, however, send to Clearview for a larger screen for the winter months. Can't very well use the summer screen in the winter, can we?

We also added a genuine Aussie Rivco solo luggage rack, a clock for the handle bars (must be able to tell the time of day) and some nice Triumph after market mirrors (Mickey Mouse had to go). Ole Skp was also kind enough to send us a pair of his excellent brake cable anchors for the front fenders. But that is absolutely it. Fini. No more. Except we are presently looking into a pair of D&D exhausts and custom paint; and we are stronly considering some nice Corbin beetle bags.

It's not a problem, though. We can quit anytime we want to...

We trudge on (in complete denial).

Corbin Beatle bags are great and sexy and well worth the money my set survived the crash of my 05 although my bike didnt and are on my 08 fixed and repainted to match .
They are waaay spendy but worth every penny cuz they are sexy
Also the other mod that isn't intrusive and takes 1/2 an hour is gipro atre
Setting three wakes up the primal beast with out digging into tunes and such
Otherwise it is just personalizing , making it your own
It's a beautiful bike and I agree but you and I know better with time you will make it your own with your personal touches
I love your CBX that had or has to be or been fun
Give it time you will change it if nothing else to personalize to make it your own .
I've had two
It happens
Oh and the eastern beaver relay mod is highly recommend although I haven't done it yet
It's next on the list
Otherwise enjoy
I know I have

I'm not saying I won't change the mirrors or maybe some better footpegs....small stuff like that. Believe me, I know all about the mod bug. I've been riding and working on my bikes and cars since I was a kid I everything I own is modified.

What I'm saying is I've owned and ridden a lot of bikes and my history has been that the first time I ride a bike I'm already thinking, wow these brakes are lousy, or this thing needs a little more power, or better handling, yada yada. This bike has been much different though, I really liked it right off the bat and nothing sticks out as a problem. Could it use better rear shocks? Maybe, but I don't know if it's worth the money. I like the way it rides, it's the perfect size for me, obviously it's got lots of power and I love the torque. I even like the placement of the pegs which are neither mids or forward controls. The brakes are good and I like the way it looks. I never say never but I'm really not feeling like I really want to change anything and that's a good thing. I'd rather be riding and enjoying it.

I'll let you guys know what I think after I ride it for a season.
