Not even tempted

Made this seat from plywood, foam,, and vinyl. to the shape of my little butt.
Then every year I uncover it and dig a little more foam out.

Oh yea! The "Wing ding ding" of a two stroke! I remember those days. Take those mufflers off of those expansion chambers and I bet that thing will bust your ears!

Got to agree I love the 70's vintage stuff (especially the smokers) but I can't see giving up my Rocket for any of them.

Don't remember the year, sorry,
but I'll go take a pic of both and post here.
I'll have to dig them both out as that's not the seat I'm using right now.

Remembered I was suppose to post pics last night at work,
so today, I took some pics of the passenger seat to post.
Here they are.

the last one shows a piece of foam rubber I glued on the bottom to keep any scratches off the fender and two little rubber pieces I mounted to raise the rear up for the daughters.

Give up the Rocket for a 70's 2 stroke? I don't think so.

My H2R replica is far, very far, from a daily rider and certainly is not meant to compare with a Rocket, that's just ridiculous. It's just a cool old bike that I own and ride once in a while.

My CBX is a different story though. Nothing sounds like a CBX at full rev. Here's a little 1/3rd throttle blip, mid winter startup.

Oh yea! That brings back memories. I remember going to the Honda dealer with a friend who was buying one of the new 500 cc four cylinder Hondas. They had a brand new one of those six cylinders on the showroom floor. Cool bike. Never got the chance to hear one run.

I still like the 1970 Kawasaki 500 three cylinder. There were two guys one year ahead of me in high school who bought them. I would stand on the second story balcony and watch them leave the school parking lot for lunch. They would both do a long burn out at the same time right in front of the school. Man there just ain't nothing like the sound of two of them things screaming and winding up and smoking the rear tires! It would make my ears ring, my blood flow and make you know what do you know what!!

That looks like a pretty good setup. I might have to try that.

Works good for the daughters.
my youngest one fell asleep on it coming back from Missouri last year.
She hated the factory one, said her butt hurt after 30 minutes on it.
Your wife will love riding on it over the original one.
Easy too, just the piece of crap seat for the the bracket,
a pop river gun and drill bit, staple gun to reattach the cover.
