I drive a 2020 TFC model with a few miles on it. I don’t recall, 15K ? Miles . Runs good and is very quick and fun, fun, to ride. It ain’t no Harley tourer or Softail as far as comfort ride but a great day bike. I think they are solid and would not be overly concerned about a few miles.
I agree- I picked that because of the 20k service interval, which is costly. There are many below that many miles because people are afraid of the power. That's how I got mine at less than 300 miles.
Roxanne is now at 46k, never in a shop except for the rear brake MC recall, and going strong.
I normally don't side with the wives, but you might consider having your three small kids grow up before you start living again. I mothballed my first street bike to raise our children and my youngest helped me unmothball it and encouraged me to pick up my first rocket. Your kids will grow up fast - enjoy the ride!
