For the TPS reset, take a read here:

As great as the software is, the site is pretty awful.

The instructions for the reset are here, search for this section: "For the Reset adaption, if required, you have two options, example of Triumph Keihin ECU:"

It talks you through the official procedure.

You'll see it referred to all over the place as the '12 minute idle' or '12 minute reset', etc

That was very helpful thank you

Confused...what is the difference between the two?

Downloading a map into your ECU is not designed for your specific motor.
Having it put on a dynamometer allows a good tuner to tailor fit the best tune for your motor regarding HP and Torque.

The problem is finding a good dunk guy or any Dino guy. But I agree that's the best route. The generic ones are still better than the triumph ones.

I have been working on training one up on R3 stuff in the Richmond area. He will get his shot on my '09 as soon as I get filters, pipes and PCV installed in a couple of weeks

All you tech-no dudes are making my brain hurt. If I have to do anything to my bike more complicated than filling up the gas tank, I get confused. I guess dealers love folks like me.

Genuine question, not a dig.

Why are folks still fitting PC's to their bikes when we have Tune Ecu which we can use with a 15 quid cable? Can you do stuff with a PC that tuneecu can't do? I'm generally curious because from 2 what I've read I thought tuneecu had pretty much made PC's redundant for our bike
