I'm assuming your from Nevada?
If so what part? I ride up to Reno and Virginia City on a pretty regular basis, 1st and 2nd beer are on me at the Red Dog if your in the area ;)

I go to vc alot red dog is always a stop
 
Welcome to the R3T. I had an ST1100 many years ago. I've spent a bit of time on ST1300s too.

I don't think the STs want to go any faster than the R3T. The R3T is a heck of a lot more comfortable than either of them.

One thing I remember about both the STs was that they suffered from wobble when following tractor trailer trucks. Even with the tall windshield I don't have this problem with the R3T.
