+ anuthery - nice shed bloke well done, now to the furnishings .... show place to park the beasty, bar made from slabs of hardwood aka bush furniture style, fireplace, racks of parts, music & so forth ... nie shed
Sorry, but, in my book a 60 X 40 foot two story building
IS NOT A SHED!
In a funny twist, I could really see a Texican saying something like this.
Thought youse Aussies be more practical.
At just what size does a shed become a shop in OZ???
SO Mittzy . . .
The size has NOTHING to do with the the name shop or shed.
If I'm making and selling koolaid from a 8'X8' assembled building - it is a SHOP.
If I put up a 60'X40' building to park motors, cars and a wheelbarrow in - it is a SHED.
Period.
Have I got it correct now, Mate???

Not sure of the technical definition, but Mitzy may have hit upon something...in my mind a shed is where genteel southern ladies store their gardening tools...a shop is where work (among other things) happens...so maybe we have shortened workshop into shop. In Texas strangers go to a store to spend money btw
