New Rocket 3 Prices Announced

It's a shame Triumph would not build a true performance engine to match the sporty look of the bike. Was looking at the new Toyota Rav and saw the 2.5 liter base engine has 203 hp with 174 ft lbs torque. All below 6600 RPM, using regular gas, and getting 33 mpg. Come on Triumph, you have a beast of a bike, build an engine to match! Seems like there are many new motorcycles offered with half the displacement and much better performance!

I thought this would be a good thread in which to post a pic of our own quickie69, taken over the weekend at a Triumph dealership in NC. Cameron is back at Raleigh-Durham observing the construction of one of the new General Electric engines for the Boeing 777X. He was invited to the unveiling of a new Rocket. He told me the look of surprise on his face was how easily it came up off of the kickstand. He said it felt like a 450 instead of a 2500cc engine, the weight being so low.

How tall is that fellow?
