Welcome now 50mpg must be riding very carefully or the bike is very lean which they usually are straight from the factory.
Not riding particularly carefully, it's had the remap for the TORS so shouldn't be too lean.

50...I'm avg 31....the motors are choked to death by EPA standards. If you decide to actually set the bike up as intended by design with intake, map, pipe change, your HP will increase dramatically but your gas mileage will take a dive. I opted for performance over mileage

Hi everyone, picked up my Roadster about 3 weeks ago and managed a couple of thousand miles so far! Really enjoying it and getting nearly 50mpg, brilliant bike.

WELCOME to the fold from the Colonies!
50mpg? Maybe on an Imperial gallon?

Welcome from Down Under Hux enjoy the ride..
Good mpg to mate...Must be talking open roads...

And Another Aussie Welcome
Thanks for all the welcomes! It looks like I got a 'good one' for the fuel economy, most of the miles so far have been on a trip to the Alps so a mixture of motorways, mountains and fast open roads. I wouldn't say I was being particularly careful but I do try to be smooth.
