New Performance tire for Rocket 2.5 from Metzeler

Sounds like more likely a case of getting used to the bike & experimenting with tyre pressures.
Lot of torque, easy to break the rear loose on new and old, i ride with guys tgat got the buttons and modes and stuff and they break it loose anytime they want, or should i say showing off. Monster torque, especially on the new ones.

Have you ever had the Wheel/Tire Assembly checked for 1) Out of Round and then; 2) Checked for Balance?

The most common case of "Tire Cupping" is a wheel/tire assembly that's out of balance and/or out of Round.

Thanks Sunny,

Do you know the Tire's Compound Specification/Rating?

D/R

Just got serviced before I bought it I'd hope it's OK....

Ive run the cobra with over 200hp with no buttons and no riding aides to correct my mistakes. Does great.
Kevin and I are running Gen 1 2.3L Rockets with high power kits in them. 200+ HP and 170-190 Torque. Now both of our bikes are baggers, so maybe a little heavier than Gen II 2.5L Rockets. My bike weighs 880 Lbs without me. Right at 1100 Lbs with me on board. I too run the Avon Cobra and ride hard. I don't have trouble with traction or spin ups at all.
