New paint job.. Plain gloss black or something different..?

No one wants to put pictures up, just go with orange with black tribal looks sharp looks mean and stands out and gets a lot of looks , You can have a lot of bikes around it and it just pops.

Some awesome paint jobs - including the satin black - but that chopped rear fender sure spoils the lines of the bike. In my opinion, the Rocket rear fender not only looks great as is but it's shape doesn't lend itself to chopping. Just my opinion.

yeah i agree mate i haven't seen a rear fender chopped on a Rocket yet that doesn't look like its been chopped if you know what i mean

Probably not the most conventional Colour for a cruiser but who cares... I like it!

Just sent my bike in for respray. Hope the wait isn't too long.

I like the tribal pattern and orange, any more pics? I would prefer a yellow with tribals, I might even go Yellow Fleuro on a spare set of tins to match a new Triumph Expedition jacket.

Jeez though, you must be a contortionist or use your bike as a gynecologist's mobile surgery with those h'way pegs up there. ;):D:D:D

Unique side cover panels too I have never seen any where else, what did the chrome bits come from? I like them, different but not too 'Orange County theme bike build'. Some of their stuff was truly horrific.

If you like the matte black look but hate the maintenance of a matte finish, you might want to consider a truck bedliner coating like Line-X or Rhino Linings. They're incredibly durable, won't get rain spots, and simple to clean. The look isn't for everyone, but I think could fit well with your bike. Here's a guy who did it to his ride:

I might follow the theme and go 'Pebble Crete' ;):D:D

I wonder if you could get a Rayskin leather finish.

Has anyone tried covering the whole bike tins in vinyl overlays and is it heaps cheaper than paint to get a decent job done. I saw another thread where somebody mentioned they used 'Plasti Dip' and it intrigued me as a complete paint novice looking to play w/o stuffing anything up permanently. I was surprised to find out it is now can sprayable with pearls, metallic flakes and shifting color 'Flip-flops' I think @EasTexRIII called them.
