I wonder if you could get a Rayskin leather finish.
Has anyone tried covering the whole bike tins in vinyl overlays and is it heaps cheaper than paint to get a decent job done. I saw another thread where somebody mentioned they used 'Plasti Dip' and it intrigued me as a complete paint novice looking to play w/o stuffing anything up permanently. I was surprised to find out it is now can sprayable with pearls, metallic flakes and shifting color 'Flip-flops' I think @EasTexRIII called them.
Hey Ish, the vinyl wrap is much cheaper even if done by a pro wrap company. It would probably very difficult to do on your own. Only cons to it is it is not protected from cuts, chipping, peeling like paint is by the clear coat.
The plasti dip peels off so easy that if you rubbed against it with anything heavier than a moquitos d!ck it would peel.
