Love the wheels. That is something I would consider doing for sure. I have the same colour combo you have (blue and white) I love the red pinstripe I also think it would look real cool to have the white wheel with a gold pinstripe to match the tank.

Anybody know what it would cost to powdercoat the wheels on this side of the pond?

Nice job

Looks awesome Jack!
Doing the same with my wheels this next fall when riding season ends. The chrome will become white and the black will become blue. Plan on going with white for the radiator cover and blue grill as well.
Love the splash of red on the brakes as well!!
And the additional emblems add a really nice touch!

Don't know how the 2 colour will work on the wheels, I was going to have that but it was a lot of trouble using silicon masks so I just whent with the single colour.

Bloody good effort. Looks http://www.r3owners.net/images/smilies/cool.gif
I've always been partial to shiny chrome and polished aluminium but in recent years my front wheel has started corroding a bit. I've been thinking about trying to get some BST carbon fibre wheels to save worrying about them but just can't justify the expenditure. This offers a nice alternative to both change up the look of the bike and surpass the need for polishing maintenance.

Mine are the early lacquered type, so have stood up for the last 7-8 years but have aluminium worm working their way along in parts. Getting rid of it properly will require stripping the lacquer.

These are my old wheels trick yellow, red candy with polished rims
I still like em, they are prettier than the carbons I replaced them with.
