Back on topic....

To me the bike is "meh". Yep it is shooting for the Harley crown; but isn't that was Triumph was aiming for with the original RIII? Shoot, who know what the heck Triumph was aiming for with the R3T, I'm sure it wasn't no **** Puerto Rican in Florida that's for sure...

I thought triumph was just showing how an extra cylinder and a couple extra undertuned cc could make twice as many HP with the Original RIII which had 3 mufflers to keep the unique triumph look for its Power cruiser then someone in the styling dept thought the that if they took away some of the HP and styled it more like a Hardly Ableson they might draw a few HD owners over and the Touring was born, cos they probally couldn't handle the full power. Then they must of got drunk in the styling dept and accidently got paints mixed up and ended up with all that excess black paint to use up not to mention some idiot decided to use some surplus water heaters so they decided to use them for mufflers and put them on the roadster
As for the Honda yeah it looks like they are aiming at Hardy and that obnoxious styling disaster Victory and seem to mix the worst of both if they styled it like the Valk they would sell them like hotcakes as for the normal GW they are a waste of plastic covering a sweet motor and chassis

Don't have a clue what Triumph was shooting at.
But they sure made a statement didn't they?
Got us all hooked on speed and adrenaline (again);)
Maybe they just wanted to regain the crown of the biggest baddest bike on the planet,
then wait for carpenter to play with it just a little to regain the crown of the
WORLDS FASTEST MOTORCYCLE...
but the hondas a nice little bike.
Just like I tell all my harley buddies...
nice little bike.
My wife rides a bigger bike than that, but it ain't bad for a starter.....;)

Point taken.. guess i'm fortunate enough to have mates that when they make a mistake have the integrity to apologise. Mitch is a mate of mine and when someone has a go at him over something that they got f#cked up i'll back him up. Like i posted having cracks at blokes you dont even know is going to cause these sorts of problems. Im done with this one. Safe Roads all.

Spot on TC. Anyone takes on one of us, he takes on all of us.
Interestingly, wrong as he was, Biker was trying to do the same thing. What's odd is the he couldn't see what we were about and nor could those who ran to his rescue.
Makes me even prouder to be an Aussie.

Do I take it you are saying this 'tongue in cheek' much like Mitch intended in his original post?
