2014 Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster
Picked up my net 2014 R3 Roadster yesterday Logged about 200 miles with a few stops. Then bike started and quit a couple of times. Then it wouldn't even crank, not even a 'click'. Full electric and gas. Bike was remapped by the dealer for TOR exhaust. Very disappointed and worried about owning a bike that dies the first day. Have to wait until dealer opens Tuesday. Love the bike, but I already have two non-running bikes. Didn't buy new to be down. Might have to check into our "lemon law".

Sounds like your dealer screwed the pooch, bernard. Have them pick it up and get it squared away with the strictest of marching orders!

This is most definitely a dealer prep issue, and not a trait indicative of the Rocket 3.

This is the reason why many of us stay away from the dealerships and perform all maintenance and upgrade work ourselves.

Dealers suck. I hope you git it sorted out with them. Nothing but GOOD things ahead; with that Rocket. ;-)

Bernard, good luck on Tuesday as I am sure the dealer will do right by you. And next time, take a jet-ski out in the water and not your new Rocket...

Could it just be that the engine didn't get the 12 minute idle reset after remapping? Just a thought...

He must have sorted it out and hasn't made it back yet.

We all want to know how he got back on the road though
