New '11 Roadster owner in Utah

Thank you gents! Looking forward to the new steed and wanting to get to the point where I can intelligibly discuss R3R elsewhere on the forum... but deer induced wheelchair patience programs preclude such purposed proclivity. However, am fully versed on making "Brrrraaaatttt" sounds and splattering spittle on the inside of the windshield. Vacations of the mind can be the best kind... always fit the budget and no need for time off from work (heck take them while you are AT work.. who's to know?).

Gotta admit it is fun to be on a forum where a large population of the riders are from all over!

So, what's first... suspension upgrades, pipes (will eventually want full headers), hard bags, or seats?....

Thanks!

John

For me twas better rear shocks, TORs, trip K&Ns (RU2780) and a good tune on the dyno with Tune ECU.
Major HP boost.
Now running CES headers which improved HP even more.

Another welcome from the UK John. I'm sure you'll love her.
I'd say get used to her properly before you change things then you'll know just what to change.
I just changed my rear shocks and it's made a superb bike even better. Bit more preload but also proper compression damping.
Hope you're soon out and about.

Welcome form Cape Cod, MA. Being a former Valkyrie Interstate rider I know how you feel right now. But you will never look back after riding a Rocket. Best Bike choice I have ever made.
