Neighbor's crash

@Joesmoe Yes, she made the initial 911 call.
@TriumPhil I do not know him but I want to follow up if I can figure it out. I have seen his bike once before last Fall. It is an off color red, (Mine in Denver is fire engine red) and has a black chin spoiler, easy to spot this one. It looks pristine as well; well until last night.
@Rick Morris I was first to lend a hand on scene. Like I said, it happened only a few steps from my house. I had no gear with me so My main concern was to keep him still till the ambulance arrived.

This is happening too frequently these days.... I know two guys that this happened to and they both walked away with a broken wrist. I too walked away with a broken wrist in 2004. Someone should invent a wrist protector..;) Good on you for being on the scene Boog..

Always a good thing when another rider is the first responder, they should know what to do regarding stabilization and helmet remove (or not). Lucky you were around!

An acquaintance of mine died when his chain snapped mid corner at spirited speeds recently, makes me glad we're shaft driven!

It is tough to see any rider down, much worse when you know them. Sorry about your loss brother.

Hospitals won't give information. If you know which firehouse the ambulance came from you can probably ask them how the guy is doing. They SHOULDN'T tell you anything, but since you were there they'll probably give you a general idea how he is, if they even know.
good luck
