I agree except not a fan of the stonehenge replica other than a place to take a break. Hwy 39 is my favorite over all three of the sisters. If you get tired of the twisties, 39 has an abundance of less adventurous sweeps along the scenic Guadalupe river.[/QUOTE]
There were miles of smiles on the three sisters. Sometimes I felt like a kid on an amusement park ride wearing a huge grin. H3ll, we're planning on going back in June for our anniversary.
But, there was also a lot of curves with negative camber, curves with gravel kicked up onto the road, broken asphalt, groups of pirates moving at a snails pace and power rangers trying to drag a knee as they pass in blind curves.
It may not rate as adventurous, but 39 may just be my favorite road in the area too.
