Need a drive shaft for 2022 GT

what you are saying about the ujoint being a slight stiff is really very expectable and should last a long time/miles.
tell me which part of the joint is stiff .
is it the caps on the yoke or the caps on the shaft. i am assuming the shaft is still in the bike?
there is a good chance that i can explain how to fix this but i need the above information.

Hmm.....driveline shop might be able to rebuild the U-Joint? Maybe somebody has done this on the forum? If so, are the part numbers available.....
I'll have to visit a local drive line shop and ask....

Had the same problem, found a driveline shop that replaced both U Joints for less than half the cost of a complete new shaft. Bike runs perfect now.

Shop took care of it.....that's good to know. How many miles did you have on yours when needed the work.
Is it expected these will only last 20K miles?

A friend suggested maybe it was not lubed properly on the production line since one axis is ok, but not the other axis.
Since the snow will be flying in a couple weeks, I'll ride it until the weather turns and they throw gravel on the road. ;-(

It one of the first 2020 models. Only done 8000 miles…..but i bought the bike as a demo and it could have suffered some abuse as a launch demo. Overall not pleased with the durability, shaft issues seems to be common with many Triumph models.
