Mystery detent spring

I have an additional question….I have an ‘08 with approx. 50 K kms. and no issues really. Would it be a prudent move to replace that detent spring next winter BEFORE I have issues? Also does anyone know of the most reasonable parts supplier up in Canada? TIA.
