Hello all. I finally (as we speak actually) have tune ecu going. I haven't done anything yet but I thought I'd share my experience step by step. Much of this was plagiarized from @EasTexRIII.

First I pulled the headlight fuse which confused the hell out of me at first because there is no real schematic. Just 1, 2, 3, ect. I finally figured out to get the owners manual out and find the coresponding number with the appropriate fuse which is number 9 on my bike.

Second I opened tune ecu

Third: plug cable into phone

Fourth: check the box and hit ok. Make sure you check the box! That may seem obvious to you smart people but it took me a few times to figure that small step out. :)

Plug cable into bike

Swipe screen to right to pull up map screen

Touch top right hand corner where it says ECU.

Hit read map.

My map pulled up number 20368 which I then diligently sent to HansO per his request. He asked me days ago for it and I finally now am getting to it. I then hit save map and it's been saving ever since. It is cool to get more connected to my bike.

Love and kisses all.

I feel dumb now.... it never dawned on me to pull the headlight fuse. I hooked a battery charger up when i did mine :rolleyes::banghead:

I did the same thing.

As Norm noted, the fuze box labeling is very poor and pretty different from what the manual says. So i said "the hell with it", left the fuse in and hooked up the Battery tender

Since I switched to LED head and foglights. I just turned the fogs off, and put the headlight on dim, and kept the battery tender hooked up. So long as there was more 12 volts, TuneECU did not falter. I ran the engine a little to get some oomph out of the alternator which helped.
