Ok, I for one, like the stock seat. The problem is I ride two up and the stock passenger seat is crap. Tried the gel seat, it's crap too. So now I have the classic dual with the drivers backrest. It is good for my passenger and good for driver from a padding perspective but not from an ergonomic perspective. It crowds me too much into the tank. I measured the seating area and the driver portion is 15" - 2" less than the stock driver seat, hence the crowding. That also explains why the passenger pillion is better - they get more room back there because it was stolen from the driver!
So now I thought I would try the corbin, but looking at the specs for their dual tour seat, it looks like it too has similar measurements as the classic seat.
Aside from going down the path of a custom seat or something like that, does anyone have any recommendations? I don't really want to use an air or gel pad. Anyone heard any rumors about any other manufacturers developing a seat? Mustang? Sargeant? anyone?
