Nice Video (even if a lot of it is sped up) Steve have you done that road, if not why not I would not regard that as dangerous in fact it is near Highway class compared to the 40 km Araluen to Moruya road, it might not be as scenic as the one you put up but in placeses it is a 60 to 70 foot drop down to the Deua river which it follows and in places two small cars (let alone two 4x4's) would be battle to squeeze past each other, it is very windy and a lot rougher too next time I go there I will vieo it that and the climb up to Majors Creek which is strictly 4x4wd

I do not believe you watched the entire vid.
Drop-offs were WAY, WAY more than 70 feet, 1st gear twisty and scenic as all get-out!
Just recently learned of it from a Jeep buddy.
I am going to do it ASAP, but NOT with my R3R.
I would indeed ride it on my brother's Honda VFR 1200X or something similar.
Now going to look into rentals . . .

I know they are bigger drop offs, that's not the point I am making they called it Dangerous I call it a Beautiful Scenic drive but then we dont have the Grand Canyon either the local road I speak of is also very Scenic in a different much greener kind of way
