This is my Bear claw - it's just primed.
I made it cover the bottom of the filters, and there is a lot more room so a bigger filter could go in, or if I decide to go Turbo this will cover it.
I noticed when guys go turbo they ended up cutting out the bear claw .
And it fits a lot nicer then the original bear claw. Each vent is where each of the filters are to get more air and give it a little more aggressive look.
I'm holding up it because I have not figured out the brackets. I can't position the same brackets since this is larger and deeper. I think it's going to be a pain in the butt to figure out.

Make it bigger still and call it a fairing .... You will know you have gone too far when the engine is covered completely. lol

What did you make it out of? Almost looks like you combined more than one material.

Hell Fire its not that much bigger it's about a half inch wider so it will cover the bottom of filters, and it wraps more around the front and the top roundness is the same and and it bubbles out again giveing more room around the filters, its about inch in a half away from filters.
I used wood and fiberglass and bought the metal louvers, I cheated:D

No its not on need to do the mounting .
I don't think it will make noise with the vents plenty of air could excape from bottom.
I have vents on my spoiler and on my bottom cover has vent on the bottom and there is no wind noise.
