I purchased a few different headsets to use with some Motorola GMRS radios....I tried the Firefox throat mics and almost dumped my bike during the frustration of fiddling with the mics.... quickly returned, all you could hear was mumbling.... then I tried the RocketMate headsets, they work great until you get on the bike, then the noise ( of even my wife's stock harley) makes everything so hard to hear that it's not worth it. Even at idle you can't hear anything. When my wife had one radio in the car with me on my bike I could hear everything she was saying, but all she couldn't hear anything I was saying. 2 headsets at $70 each completely useless.... has anyone on here had a good experience with Bike to Bike communications? Do any set ups actually work well enough to be able to hear what the other riders are saying?

Since HiTech Wireless will not take any returns after 14 days from purchase ( ass holes) do any of you have any tips to getting comm systems to work better?????
