Bruce I've done the same but just to north stradboke ,used to see dugong and really large Jelly fish. A bit of a bonus getting payed to enjoy a day on the water

And the people that live over here do it every morning. It would wear thin after a while, not the scenery but the time it would take out of your day.

One out the windscreen after the skip truck in front of me got off at Lambe Is. And if your bike falls over they will say read the sign.

I spent 20 years between the 70's & 2000 working around the east and north coasts of Aus on lighthouses.
I can't think of a nicer way to go to work.
Seems like a life time ago now.
