Well I've just ordered a Cobra rear for my Roadster - 3450miles from new , 10 weeks use, and the Metz is finished. I suppose that's the price of all that torque, and i've done no motorway miles at all, so it's not squared off - hope the Metz front / Avon rear will work ok until I need a new front too - better start saving now!
Can you use a table jack under the sump to lift the beast or is it going to drop forwards when I take the rear wheel out?
IT HAS BEEN DONE but if you use the the two eyelets behind the sump with flipmeister lift pegs it will be much simpler and safer and you use your lift table with no concern and the R3 does not fall forward unless you deliberately put the table out of centre of balance.
