Metzlers with Avons?

Am I to understand that all this time ... calling me "little" and "stupid", contradicting my opinions and first hand observations .... that you don't ride an R3?
Say it isn't so.

Unless you're only doing "freeway" milage all the time, what would be the point of a CT.
As to cost, if you can afford the Rocket you can afford the motocycle tyre, so what if the kids miss McDonalds for one night of the week............................:D
If Triumph thought the bike would handle better with a wide flat tyre off a car, I'm sure they would have had one fitted as standard equipment............
That's my 5 cents worth

Having experienced a couple metzlers in wet situations ranging from two up in Canada during a pouring rainstorm on the highway, to simple damp spots while commuting to work one up in Philly .... I hate the way Metzlers act in wet situations. I've never experienced a more dangerous wet weather tire, other than a straight up racing slick, it's the worst I've used.
