Madstad windshield!

I'm curious, why would the bracket make a big difference in buffeting? Not disagreeing. Is it because it moves shield further out?
I was thinking the height of the shield has more of an effect.

Thinking back in the motorcycles I tested with adjustable (electronic) windshield, changing the angle or changing the height, both create a different effect in buffeting and turbulence... depending the speed, wind conditions of the day, etc. Good thing in the electronic versions is that you can notice the difference instantly while riding it as you can change those things on the fly to suit your taste/need. Very nice, enticing theory! I hope it is true. Looking forward to the reports on THIS bike. The one thing missing for me is better wind protection WITHOUT a giant shield. My vtx on the hwy, with the huge sail, was great, but that shield looked normal for the bike. Not these IMO.

I shipped a windshield from the Sierra Foothills to a member in a mid western state and the shipping was $110.00 if I remember correctly. It was through UPS. The TORS I shipped to the south was about the same . It's a friggin rip off. The windshield you try to sell someone for say $110.00 becomes $220.00. I should have drove it down it would have been cheaper.
