Madstad windshield!

One thing I like is it is one shield as opposed to 2 shields like powerbronze. bugs on the inside of mine annoy me.

agreed. but doubt it will be anywhere near as high as the 2 piece powerbronze
Think they had a 24 inch. Don't know.
I use mine slanted toward me extended. Not as tall, but avoids the wind hitting top of helmet, buffeting. Hits lower on helmet but smooth. so above shield would be ok. Mine ok for now.

One thing I found out quickly about the mid size Powerbronze is the amount of bugs that I take to the shield. By the end of my ride my windshield is relatively clear and I have a blacked out visor due to bugs. The windshield directs the wind flow onto my helmet I get get the bugs to the kisser.

I'm rocking OEM and I always get a visor full of bugs anyway. Most of my usual drive is riding around cow farms and crops. Bugs galore.

Interested in the Madstad, but the lead time is a bit steep.

Part of the buffeting is because of the windshield flopping around in the rubber mounts. I found if you stuff something in between bars and shield it makes a huge difference.

If the shield is good (strong, good shape), that bracket is going to make a difference to control buffeting. definitively, let us know your review.
I'm curious, why would the bracket make a big difference in buffeting? Not disagreeing. Is it because it moves shield further out?
I was thinking the height of the shield has more of an effect.
