Louder Pipes is it possible

IMO the D&D is really loud...wasn't sure who you were asking.

From your avatar it appears you don't have an R3T. The D&Ds for the R3T is considerably quieter than on the Standard/Classic models. I had a set and found them very tame. Now the Jardines are another story altogether.

LMAO...you know my wife has a Vespa 250 and off the lights it's not too slow but with my 90kg on it not too quick either. As for the Carpenter stuff..are you serious, mate with 147hp do you really need more????? Arghhhh, I can't believe I just wrote that, of course you don't need more but need and want...bloody power..messes with your brain, well it does with mine, you spend the $$$ then hardly use it, but hell it is awesome when you do give it a crack!

Sorry bout that! When I open up the site it's at the home page and I usually forget to check which part of the forum I'm in...

Goodday,
I have the TOR's underneath the Dutch Rocket with the cat as it is placed from factory.
Is it usefull ( for the sound) or possible to bypass the Cat?
How can that be done if it is possible. I thought the Cat was , more or less, fully open and that it hardly make any difference taken it out.

And about all that power and *****talking : In Holland a liter of Petrol is costing $ 1,23 so keeping the Rocket as it comes from the factory will save you a holiday trip per year........... .

Thanks and regards from the Netherlands.

On the R3T, unlike the Standard and Classic, the cats are in the muffler housings, not in that connector box. If you have mounted TORS, you have already removed the cats.

Harry,

Thanks,

Is there is way to make the TOR's a little louder?
Or is Raask an option compared to TOR's.
The Jardines are no option: I had them on, to much for me.

Hans, I've not heard the Raask pipes, they're not very common here. As to making the TORS louder, I'm not sure. I don't know if I'd want to go so far as to experiment with drilling holes around the baffles. If it didn't work, you're left with a bit of a mess.

Thanks a Ton GPMAZ for posting the Tune. You have been very helpful in answering all of my questions and helping me with stuff.
I have never heard Jardine in person and Video's don't really do the justice...most of riders here say there are too loud...my question is that How loud are they in comparison to Straight Pipes on V-Twins...I observed one thing very interesting on this weekend ride. One of my friends has Straight pipes with baffles removed and they are really loud...when he was riding ahead of me, they are loud...very loud...but when he was riding behind me, I could not hear him at all...I could only hear him when he was very near or almost parallel to me...

Raask Pipes

My '08 had the Raask exhaust and they were pretty quiet. Nice rubble, but not load enough for the guy next to you to pay notice at speed.
