Does the Triumph long haul touring seat fit the Roadster, I do not see why it wouldn't but Triumph does not list it as an accessory for the Roadster. The only one Triumph lists under the Roadster is the gel seat which does not support the rider backrest. I am interested in this because it supports the rider backrest which I had on my previous ThunderBird and found it helped greatly with this older body of mine.

I have seen a few threads on this but want to confirm before making a purchase to find out it doesn't fit.

I also think I read in an other post that the seat now comes in two pieces, rider -passenger. Can anyone confirm this?

My bike is a 2014 Roadster.

I have the longhaul Gel seat on my 14 Roadster along with the rider backrest,
Seat A9708164. Back rest rider A9708160 , keep in mind though the rider backrests are getting scarce, there were only a few left in the States when I ordered mine. although at the time there was one in Calgary at Black foot motor sports, 403 243 2636

These guys have the seat I believe

I was also interested in the Longhaul touring seat, but I was under the impression that seats from the Rocket Touring do not fit on the roadster because they don't have that "turn key" click out solution... Did they actually make a new specifically designed Longhaul seat for the Roadster? I was looking at a Dual Touring seat from a Classic which looks to be similiar and supposedly does fit on Roadsters

I did a search on the Canadian and US site for that part number and nothing comes up. It has been my understanding that the Gel seat does not support the rider backrest although it sounds like that is not true. Did you order it through Triumph.

I see your location is in Toronto, where about in the GTA do you live? I thought I was the only one in the area with a Roadster, the closest I saw lately was a guy in Timmins who picked up a roadster at the same time I did at GP BIkes!
