Loaning out your Rocket

Don't ya hate someone else riding your machine? One of my sons from Las Vegas came to town to visit. He used to have a Honda 954. So, off he goes on my Rocket. I can hear it screaming down the highway not too far from my house. Sounds like red line power shifts. I try not to snatch the drivetrain around too much because if it breaks, guess who has to pay for it. Anyway, he says "Man, that thing has some torque"

I don't let my son (43) ride mine just to avoid having to chew his ass for the exact same thing!

Let my B King riding hooligan on mine once, just once. After I had my off last summer all he could say was, Dad I brought it back looking better than that. I really think it scared him worse than me. Did he mend his ways, not even remotely!

I let my brother ride mine once. Only mod at the time was a cat bypass. I told him to get to 3,000 rpm in 2nd and hold it for a few seconds and then snap the throttle wide open. He came back white as a sheet and hasn't ridden it since.

Holy $hit, wish I had one of those . . . er . . . OK - well then, I wish I could yet bend enough at the joints to ride one of those for more than just around the block!

Last time I rode it felt like the Tin Man in the Wizard Of Oz when it came time to dismount. I just froze in place and said oil...oil..thought he would die laughing!

Cruel Richard, almost as bad as letting someone shoot a faulty 10 gauge shotgun that discharges both barrels simultaneously!

Had a friend and fellow Rocket owner visit from Denmark, he said his dream was to ride a Rocket across the Golden Gate Bridge, so I let him use my Rocket to do so.

6 months after returning to Denmark he sold his Rocket and bought a V-Rod

Had I known he was gonna do that I don't think Ida been so generous

Wouldn't say it's my dream, but I'd quite like to ride your Rocket over the Golden Gate Bridge one day too!
