Lightning Strike

Glad you're alright mate, I just missed the storms landed in Brisbane around 6:30 from a trip from Moranbah.

Walking in ankle deep water after doing a bit of fly fishing over on the sandspit near home carrying a graphite rod lighting struck a tree about 500 metres away I droped the rod on the shore and got the hell out of the water came back later for the rod.... Scary Sh1t

Year or two back tourists riding horses maybe 8 or 9 of them lighting hit horse killing horse rider was fine just scared as all hell

POLICE REPORT TO CORONER:

Motorcyclist carcass in ditch on side of road. Wrecked motorcycle 100 metres further on in same ditch.

Initial Conclusions: Excessive speed.

Reasoning: If motorcyclist had been travelling slowly, he would not have been at spot where lightning struck. Ergo, he was travelling too fast.

Final Conclusion: Excessive speed confirmed.

Recommendation: In order to further improve government programs for motorcyclist safety, reduce freeway speed limit by a further 20 km/hr.

Sorry Hanso couldnt stop laughing at thought of you dropping your fishing rod and running home. Well at least you retrieved your rod .gotta go change me shirt spilled coffee all over it laughing that hard
