Another concern was that during the daylight hours, the LEDs were more difficult to see.

From the side, yes, they're better focused, if you look at that review I linked to the old but worse Truck-lite spread the light around, but was worse otherwise. But on the other hand, you get much better visibility in night riding. And if you really are concerned one might install a set of Clearview extra visibility lights down lower on the bike (which is a good idea on any bike, led headlight or no, if one has the money.)

Getting down to crunch time, eh?
I be waiting on getting my tin back from the painter.
A few other things and I should be ready to ride!
You should zoom up to Nampa. ID and hook up with us on the 20th.
Or somewhere between there and say Logan, UT.

I have worked out the mileage numbers for Jim to meet up with our group if he would like to.
From Antioch to Montrose meeting in Nampa, ID (my house) adds 286 miles to the trip for Jim.
From Antioch to Montrose meeting in either Park City, UT in route or at the Hotel in Vernal, UT only adds 40 miles to the trip for Jim.

Bill.

Well, there you go, Jim!!!
Come ride with us - it's only an extra couple hunsky miles.
