Don't dump in the brink!! Take it apart and see what makes it tick ? I'm thinking you might have a stripped gear rack or gear? And if you screw it up it can still go in the landfill

U need a stepper motor hooked up or u will set codes and the engine lite will be on and u do not want that.
if that is a spare that u r going to through away then send it to me.

the guy that works for me has an idle air motor checker that extends and retracts the motor with it off the car.
so i see no reason why that would not extend and retract the stepper motor to clean it up real good. that is what he would do on his Camaro fuel injection always have one ready to go.
